Rape Crisis Gisborne was established in 1979 by a group of local women who identified a need for a support network for women who had experienced sexual harm. Today the Organisation continues to transformed into a Kaupapa Maori Sexual Violence specialist service, for ANYONE who needs Counselling support, Crisis support and Sexual Violence Court support. Our team are made up of Kaumatua, registered social workers and counsellors, volunteers, rangatahi mentors and educators.
